St. James Child Care Center is a Catholic child care center owned and operated by St. James Roman Catholic Church.  We offer a full time social and educational program for children from 18 months to 5 years of age.  Our year-round program provides the children enrolled with a full day of learning and enriching activities needed for their continued development.

Classes are limited size.  Our staff is comprised of teachers, teacher's assistants, and caregivers who come to us with various degrees, training and backgrounds.  Teacher-to-child ratios are kept low, enabling your child to fully benefit from our program.

Our Center is conveniently located in Woodbridge, adjacent to St. James School, St. James Church and in walking distance of Woodbridge train station.

Our classrooms have been designed to create a safe and nurturing atmosphere, which allow the children the freedom to explore, be creative and to develop their individual personalities.  Each classroom is fully equipped with age-appropriate materials such as blocks, books, puzzles, craft materials and music.  These materials encourage gross/fine motor skills, language development and a wide range of sensory experiences.  Our Pre-K class (4 to 5 years old)  attends St. James Elementary School for once-a-week classes of Spanish, Computers and Physical Education.

Our Goal is to provide your child with a positive, safe and spiritual early child care experience.  All while assuring parents that their children are being cared for by warm caring teachers and caregivers.  We pride ourselves on our "Open Door" policy which welcomes parents to visit the center at any time.

Registration Fee $150.00 per child
